Alteza Housing Question

Hi, I wanna get a honda/acura and have it painted black.
now my question is, I'll be putting on altezza lights on the back, and I don't like the red/chrome match, so can I paint the light housing black, and just have the red lights.
any ideas??

Why you may ask why I want them???
because I wanna get a black 90' Nissan 240sx and I don't wanna waste paying 900+ dollars to do the nissan 240 skyline conversion at the rear lights.
and I think the black altezzas look much better on black car then the chorome

Interesting concept. The only thing is, I don't believe they make any altezza lights for the 90' Nissan 240sx. I have looked around a bit and only see truck and Maxima ones....

I am not telling him not to get them. It is just that so many people get a car, are excited to mod it, buy altezzas as their first mod because they think they are "cool", only to ditch them a few months later and wish they did not waste $200 on the things and gotten something like a CAI instead....That is why i said for him to think twice, but I see he is interested in them for other use...

What I wanna say is that there are LOTS of ppl with altezzas on their cars, but only a few amount of ppl know how to make their car acutally look good.
