Notchy shifter
Has anyone noticed the "notchiness" in their stock shifter on the 5-spd? It doesn't bother me that much, but when I want to get on it and go, it takes some real motivation and faith to slam into gear feeling that double-click that it does...
What is the best solution for this? Should I buy an aftermarket shifter (B&M, etc.), or just modify the gates with the ol' bolt trick and some stiffer bushings & tighter springs? What would you guys recommend as a decent, more "precise" fix for this slight annoyment?
