battery draintexasgreaper 09-30-2005, 01:25 PM I have a 2001 325i and the battery recently started going dead. I can recharge the battery and will go for several days and then dead again. This started after my daughter played the cd player when the engine was not running and ran the battery down. Seems like something is draining the battery after ignition is off but I can't see any lights burning or hear anything running. Anyone have an opinion as to cause. Any help would be appreciated. Sometimes they get out of adjustment and stay on or you have something in the glovebox in the way of it closing properly.Like a CD case. texasgreaper 10-01-2005, 07:35 AM Thanks, I haven't checked the glove box yet. 91HO305TPI 10-02-2005, 09:58 AM the problem is the battery is junk your daughter likely drained it too far and bmw (douglas) battery have a hard time coming back to full strength after drained to wheen the car wont start. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
