I have a 97 grnad cherokee 5.2 with the 4all time but it is missing the froint drive shaft de front drive axels and the gears that go inside the differential. if i try to do a burnout will it shatter all beacuse the transfer case is stille there? can it do it safely?

what do you mean by shatter all? i dont have my front driveshaft on and sometimes i like to stomp on the gas and see some tire smoke. as long as drive shaft is off i dont see any instant damage happening.

You won't damage anything. You can even put it in 4-lo to get the tires going really good. Send us some pics of your burnout

hmmm 97 Grand with a V-8. Doesn't that mean you have a 249? If so, you stand a really good chance of ruining a $600.00 Viscous Coupling.
