An automatic Mclaren???? Do they mean like a sequential gearbox?

the person who posted that for sale is obviously an idiot. if you look at the circled portion(i tried my best:)), you can clearly see a shifter.... meaning, its not an automatic. NO McLaren's were automatics.

The road cars came with a 6-pc leather luggage set that fits in the "trunk." I'm guessing this model didn't come with that. ;)

As many of you have guessed, the GTR did not come with the luggage but the roadcar did not to mention a custom fit golf club bag. The luggage is quite nice. There is also a watch from TAG that is special and unique to the car.

The picture of the Orange car is a GTR that used to be white and was converted for European use. It was for sale for some time. It was quite expensive and had very limited use even in Europe. Not a very practical car, I am afraid.

SilverLotus, you would actually be quite surprised, the McLaren roadcar and the GTR are very comfortable. You feel as though you are an extension of the car. I have driven and sat in other race cars that are far less accommodating. Usually comfort it not associated with racing, but when in fact, if the driver isn't in the right position, his performance will normally be slower than when he is situated correctly. The McLaren GTR does an excellent job of placing the driver in the right location, the correct seat, and the controls in the perfect location.

Now, I have not raced a McLaren nor have I put one through the paces, but I have sat in several and have raced other far lesser cars, and find the McLaren very comfortable, considering.

I will not go so far as to say that it compares well with something like a Mercedes Maybach, of course, but in my mind, being a passenger is nothing compared to driving.
