Hey guys,
This is my first time posting on here so go easy on me :).

I'm buying an old 93' Accord from a family friend for like $200. The engine for the car is dead so basically i wanted to take that and teh auto-transmission out and put in a 97-99 prelude engine (~195 hp VTEC right?) and manual transmission. Now i wanted to ask if this was possible and if so does anyone know what parts i would need? I personally dont know very much about engines but i would like a more powerful engine then the one that was standard on those accords. The dead engine in the car seems pretty big and thats why i thought one of the prelude engines would fit in it.

Any thoughts/comments are much appreciated!

Thanx
-Virge

-P.S. anyone know where i could find a reasonably priced used or rebuilt engine?

Its an H22 Engine and you can get a changeover from www.hondamotorsonline.com

I don't know what else you would need if anything...

If I wanna drop a new engine into my 92 accord wagon (because the previous owner didn't treat the engine well and I wanna tear up my friend's POS civic), what might I be able to use? The reason I ask is because the motor website posted previously didn't seem to have a motor for my 92.

Thanks!

H22A engine will fit in any 90-02 I4 Accord, without modifications (none VTEC models need addition wiring for VTEC).
