hi all i have no real knowledge of cars and i was hoping to get some help from some one. 1st off i have the new 2005 grand prix base model. and i was wondering what i could do to increase the speed. Second i will like to get some rims i would like to know what size tires and what kind of modification i would have to make to make( i want some 17" rims) and what size would look best. i have about 300 to spend on speed and will like to spend as least as possible on the rims please help.

you can supercharge it like the GTp but you need to get the supercharger and change some other things on the engine or it will destroy it.

If you want "speed", why did you buy a 05' GP base model?

If you want fancy rims, "cheap" is not going to work.

Re: help

your car is still under warranty...there are very few mods you can do that will not void your warranty. It would cost you several thousand dollars to put a supercharger in...You may want to change the intake and mod the exhaust and try not to void warranty...Your best bet is to drive and enjoy the car...its new....If you really desire more speed, it would be easier to sell your car and get a supercharged one
