I recall working with you on a grounding issue a little while back. The ground on the tranny/engine is the main ground. There are about 5 black ground wires that hook up to the grounding stud including the main ground from the battery negative. If you have corrosion or oxidation it would probably be a good idea to remove all the ground wires and clean them up including the stud.
The orange and pink wires that provide voltage supply to the PCM are located in the same wiring harness. I'd recommend removing the plastic cable covering and do a comprehensive visual inspecton. Make sure none of the wires are burnt, shorted out, damaged, open, etc.
