Does anyone know how much it would cost to import a Honda Accord Type R from Germany into the US? Does anyone know of any car importers in US?

Honestly I'm not sure of what you are speaking of, I have never heard of a Type R Accord in Germany. However if you are correct and there is, I will warn that to import that car will be very expensive, not to mention there are different emission standards in Europe. So before the U.S. will allow that car into the country it will have to be converted to meet our customs requirements. Just the conversion alone is very pricey. Then you add the shipping. You may as well build your own Type R, and spend way less, not too mention you will have it in a timely manner. If you have it shipped it can take 1-6 months to get here. If you are persistant on getting this car imported, try and find a friend that is in the military and stationed over there. Us military folk, can ship one vehicle over and one vehicle back, for free... Now the only part is convincing your friend or contact in the military that this Accord Type R is more important than the BMW he or she was planning on bring back. BMW over there are cheap as hell and well most military people that have been to Germany bring back BMW's.. So good Luck, but I still suggest you build it to the Type R Specs...
