2001 pathfinder power windows

The drivers side window auto function is not working properly. The window rises to the shut position and then reverses and opens half way.
I swapped out the switch, but that did not cure the problem. The manual function works perfectly on all 4 windows and the auto function on the passenger side also operates correctly. Also, auto down on the drivers side is OK.

I also had that same problem some time ago. I had my driver's side window glass, and regulator replaced. While I don't recall exactly how it was fixed, it was quite simple. I belive it was something like putting the window down all the way and then pressing down again. Something like that, it's something your local Nissan stealership service department would be happy to tell you. If they won't, call Wagner Nissan in Simsbury, CT. They are always very helpful to me.
