Question Lifting

I want to lift my 90 4runner, 4-6inches. Dont really know where to start. Do I need to change the gears out. Look for some advice/pros/cons, etc.
Any and all help grealty appreciated.

You might whant to look for Downey off road catalog. I have found it to be very educational, aside from the fact tha they sell their products. It informs as to the pros and cons, on lifting, gearing, tire size's, and good commen sence. another good source to read up is North west off-road, not as educational but, more informative as a con for Downey catalog. Both of theese co. specalize on toyota off road products.

Use those catalogs for info only. There is better and less expensive stuff available.

Before you do anything, WHAT will the truck be used for ? (trails, mud, rock crawling, etc.)
This will affect how you build the truck.

Im lookin for a clean, nice lookin lift. Interested in trail and mud, mainly. I dont want to go hackin body parts and shit either. Thnx

Im wanting to run 33's or 35's, ive got 15.5" 6-lug rims that i want to use. If that helps.
