1989 V6 std clutch replacement

Have looked back in search and picked up some good pointers but was wondering if anyone had links to the manual before I go ahead with this job. I have the new parts and the alighnment tool, Any help would be appreciated.

OK no takers so I used the 1993 Truck Service manual at the top of this forum and whatever else I could find. Stripped everything and made a support out of a floor jack. Took the 8 cap screws holding the cross member off and started to take the whole assembly back away from the engine. It went back about an inch and stopped. I put a come-along on the jack and put quite a bit of force on it while getting a helper to shake it to get it loose but no luck. I now have it open enough to see the front side of the flywheel and it appears there is a metal spacer between the engine and bell housing and it appears to have not come off the dowels on one side. What to do now???

It was late at night and the helper hadn't completely backed out the starter bolt so that was the hang up. The fabricated floorjack lift worked well on the reinstall with the trans and transfer together. Still it was quite an undertaking and took us about 7 hours including new master cylinder and bleeding and adjustments. Like new now and ready to go to work. The info from the 93 truck manual was invaluable. Thanks for that.

Good job. Glad it worked out in the end.
