Question girlfriend thinking about buying GTI 1.8T or VR6

My girlfriend currently has a ford focus zx3 and she really wants a faster car. The only problem is that she cannot drive a stick and there is no talking her into it. So I was wondering what the performance difference was between the 1.8t auto and manual, and the vr6 auto and manual. I think she should get the 1.8T just because it is cheaper to make faster, but then again I dont know what difference it would make since it is an automatic.

get a manual gti. The auto will most likely have transmission issues. But then again the manual will most likely need a clutch. 1.8t is better on gas than vr6. But vr6 has more hp

I have a 2001 VR6 4 Motion.
Great car, loads of torque and a very high spec car.
What a great car to drive.

Sorry I didn`t answer any of your questions
