warped rims fixable??

I have a problem guys..I smacked my right rear rim against the sidewalk when I got sidways in the bird ( dumb as shit, I know) is it fixable, and how is the term "warped" define.. when I went to fix the lip of my rim, the guy to me that the rim is warped when he went to mount and balance it...need answer

Personally, I'd replace the rim. When you bend aluminum and reshape it you tend to weaken it, and I'd hate to hear about your rim breaking over a bump or something small.

be cheaper to go around to junkyards looking for a rim, or maybe ebay.
