Talking towing????

i want to buy a dirtbike but my 95 with tha 3.8litre is that strong eonough to carry the bike on a tiny trailer? probably 300-400pounds for hte bike and extra 150 for gas n junk for it... probably traveling like 50 miles with it both wayz what ya guyz thinks?

ive saw a 2000 3.8l hauling a trailer with 2 dirtbikes on it before.....so im sure its possible

You could tow a dirt bike without much of a problem, but I sure as hell wouldn't put a hitch on my car...

I saw a 4th gen ss towing a dirtbike last summer, so its possible, but the big question remains.... WHY? Thats what trucks are for.

cause i have my camaro now and its the 3.8lter in the 95 i dont know how much toqrue it has asides a hitch isn't that much i can just weld it on or something and i dont like trucks

Dude it's possible, 3.8s pack 200 HP and torque is a little bit more, so its definately possible.. the only reason I said dont take it on the highway is because you'll be in first gear.. not being able to go that fast.


Dont listen to all these losers though, nothing redneck about hauling with a Camaro, atleast I dont think so.. it just means you dont want a truck and its obvious Camaro's have enough torque to rival trucks so its all good.

i agree...its kinda odd to see but i'd do it too if i needed to haul my dirt bike...being in college and broke all the time i couldnt afford a truck, in the owners manual there is a section about towing anyways....go for it! the one i saw was on I64 and it kept up pretty well with everyone
