what's the best tire shine you guys seen around..
i've used a few but i wanna see if someone has somethin i haven't tried yet.....

I've tried many of those tire shine products for my car, but they all run-off when I drive, and make lines. However, after I try a new kind, I always come back to the traditional Armor-All or Turtle Wax Formula 2001. These work the best for me.

I just bought some Eagle One tire shine and I like it so far. It seems to last longer than the armor all that I used before.

yeah Eagle One is pretty good. Just about all of them give a great shine....I just don't like how they make those "run" marks after driving the car...

Do you find that the Armor-All turns the tire brown over time?

So far, I haven't had that problem. I've been using the stuff on my car for a couple of years now. I apply it generously and keep the tire clean, and it seems okay.

then again, I use 2001, not Armor-all. Maybe that has something to do with it. Try out the 2001...it works the same and it's cheaper. Maybe it'll help the tire color from getting worse.

I use Meguiar's Tire Endurance. Shines up the tires nicely. Armor All turns my tires brown.

I use eagle one. It seems to stay on longer than any of the other products I've used (especially the foams). To avoid the running I spray...let it sit for a while...give it a quick wipe down to smooth it out...then polish or wipe my wheels to remove any excess. I love the stuff.

I go with Black Magic Tire Wet. I don't think many places have it, but it's great. It makes the tires actually look wet and shiny. That's what I like anyway.

the reason that Armor-All turns your tires "brown" is because when you apply it , it is meant to protect your tires. But when you drive your car within a week of when you applied it ..its likely to get dirt in the armor-all. So they suggest to get rid of the "brown" to apply once a week. thats alottttttta armor-all

You can just use Ajax or Comet with just alittle or dish washing fluid when you clean your tires with a good soft brissel brush. The turnibg brown of the tires after about a week or so specially when it rains is actually the road grime and break dust getting stuck on the sticky armor-all. Claen your tires really good with the ajax or comet ( I do it twice) the tire will show a little of brown as it is drying. After it is dry then apply baby oil. After it is dry the tire will return to it's black rich color again. And if by any chance you drive an SUV or a Malubu with white walls or white letters this those clean them up.

I have that Pennzoil foam stuff...I think its Black Magic and I love that stuff. I try to drive on the grass till I get on tar though .

There is new stuff out by the "Invisable Glass" brand that works extremely well on my X5. The only place i can find it in a store is Autozone. I have used Armor-All for years, and I have never had a problem. Until coming here to AF, i never even heard of it turning the tire brown.

WOW, you should always clean your tires with gentle degreaser (nonbutyl) before applying dressing and try to avoid solvent based dressings / Also IMO ajax and comet are bad ideas for cleaning tires...1 - you need to condition your tires to prevent drying and cracking (both products remove the natural oils(rub some on your hand then rinse and tell me how it feels after))....... 2- using abrasive cleaners around your wheels and rotors - calipers could increase oxidation and cause premature failure of brake linings and damage clearcoated / painted wheels
