How Hard on Gas?
Hey guys I'm new here. I'm thinking about buying a 1999 S-10 just your regular 4 cylinder small truck. I recently sold my civic, and was woundering how actual hard is the S-10 on gas? Can anyone give me information like "It costs 40 to fill my.." .. "and it lasts about 450 km's"
Information with kilometers and how much it costs would be sweet, and if it is in American or Canadian. Thanks guys.

Re: How Hard on Gas?
you should do a lot better at 2200ft.
if my conversions are correct 8.5km/liter @20MPG.
I do like the truck, though the engine does seem under-powered. BTW is it auto or manual?

How long does that gas last _ (kilometers or miles)

And if the '00 is anything like the '94, then the tank holds 20 gallons.

Thanks. I have a tiny bit of lead in my foot, but I can expect 21/22 MPG average. I can get around 330 miles to the tank without getting it too far towards E. I hate how this dinky little 2.2L actually gets WORSE gas mileage on the highway the way I drive (doesn't help that I live in the big belt of mountains in the northeast).

you cant do stuff like that
i can drive a s-10 and get 15MPG out of it, and my dad can drive it, and get 23MPG.
you need to find out the average MPG, and find out the into you need.
