93 blazer eletrical problem (of sorts)

this is a very interesting problem.. i just purchased this blazer of mine on my birthday (june 17) it ran fine up until august... at completely random times when i hit my brakes the stereo i put in will shut off... then come back on... and randomly while it does this i will get the abs light and the chiming sound like the car just came back on.. at first i thought of this as a fuel problem... but after checking everything it still comes up as clean... my idle goes high and low however... which is interesting...

i removed the raido i put in and drove the vehicle and the abs light and the chiming noise when you first start the car comes on again when i hit the brakes... so it cant be linked to my stereo...

could it still be my fuel? or perhaps the air intake? i changed that out and it was pretty dirty...

You will have to check your wiring.

Yeh that or it could be the wires grounded on the thermostat housing. They went out on mine back in July and that was what was causing the same kinda problems as him
