My only complaint about 2005 Silverado...

...so far anyway! I love my shiny new 2005 Silverado Z-71! But one thing is rather annoying about the front seat. The fold down armrest, when in the up position, has a large gap between it and the seat. So, anything you set on it slides through and onto the floor in the back! HEY! Where did my cheeseburger go! I guess there has to be at least one goofy interior annoyance! In my 1990 K-1500, it was the glovebox that on occassion stuff would slide out through the bottom of it because of the gap between the glovebox door and the glovebox itself. Anyone find this armrest thing annoying enough to figure out a practical fix for it? If not,I will live with it and never speak of it to a Ford owner!!

I have the 04 Crew Cab and I have the same thing, although it isn't as much an issue for me. The thing that drives me nuts is the armrest in the back seat. If you use the cup holders and someone spills something it is now all over the back seat. I fixed this by ordering the same cup holder that is attached to the front seat and modified it, then mounted it on the rear of the back seat. Now there is a secure cup holder in the back seat too, and the fold-down feature still works for the rear seats.
