looks good, but notice your throttle body in this picutre:
See the black ring around flap? That's carbon build up, you should take some carb cleaner and a mild wire brush and clean that out. If you leave it there it will cause your gas pedal to stick. Just a little FYI for ya.

you can also use carb cleaner in a spray can and squit it on and it will clean it off there too.

Well, I'm also adding a pic of my new intake. Notice I transferred the CATALYST decal from the old air cleaner. It is on the bottom right of the pic. Did they used to put them there on older models? There's an indentation there and it looks like it belongs there

hey blenderwizard, why is your K&N neck different from the chrome one? WHat series or model did you use? I tend to think the black coating would resist heat better than the chrome, it also looks better IMHO.

I used a series 57 intake; the chrome is a series 77. it's all plastic, basically the same stuff as a stock intake tube. K&N rates the 57 as "producing" .75 more HP than the 77
