RPM keept jumping...

hey wussup...i hope somebody can help me wit this....when i drive around normal...its fine..but whenever i redline the car, after that the RPM keep goin up and down....and i have to turn the engine off and then back on...then the RPM would idle back to normal.....anyone could help...tanx a lot....

Hey you know what i think i think that you might not have any coolant or the engine is to hot so it needs to cool down. the other day i was running without coolant(jjust for 2 to 3 minutes) then the idle started to go up and down. so it might be you have no liquid(coolant or whatever you want to call it) in your radiator. this is just my opinnion but i hope it will help. have a good day! joe

my car used to do that, a new idle valve and resetting my ecu fixed all that though it could be one of those things. Also you should check all your fluids.
