Angry Turnsignal/hazard

I Have A 1984 S10 Blazer. 2.8 V6 Automatic. Got A Problem With The Turn Signal/hazards. The Pass Front Is Acting Hooey.
The Light Lights Up When I Turn On The Lights, But When I Put Either The Turn Signal, Or Hazards, The Darn Thing Dont Work. I Got A Haynes Amnual, And Tried Tracing Out The Wiring, And Got All In Truck Wiring Checked Out, But Anything Behind The Dash I Couldn't Get To. The Turn Signal Still Makes The Clicking Noise When Its Turned On, But No Light Up. Also The Dash Light For The Right Side Doesnt Work Either. I Thought It Might Be The Bulb, So I Changed Every Light I Could Think Of, Including The Side Marker Lights. Any Help In Figuring Out This Stupid Machine Would Be Much Appreciated.

Re: Turnsignal/hazard

My guess is that your flasher might be acting up.

Being an 84 the light sockets could be going bad, Have you gave them a close inspection to look at the contact points in the sockets? Everything you stated points to a burnt bulb, I had a 87 G-20 thata had a bad side marker socket I use to have to mess with to get it to make contact. I think the battery is on the side your having problems with you could have pinched a wire or pulled one loose from the back of the socket.

If your flasher checks out check your flasher relay located under the dash. There are two of them, one for hazards and one for turns.

I REPLACED THE SOCKET WITH A STOCK ONE I PURCHASED FROM LMC. THE WIRING IS CORRECT, BECAUSE LIKE I SAID, WHEN I HAVE THE RUNNING LIGHT ON, IT LIGHTS UP . IT IS JUST THAT WHEN I PUT THE TURN SIGNAL OR HAZARDS ON THAT THE LIGHT TURNS OFF. AND DOES ANYBODY KNOW HOW MUCH A FLASHER COSTS?
IF IT'S NOT MUCH, I'LL HEAD OUT TODAY ON LUNCH AND INSTALL ONE.

Re: Turnsignal/hazard

When I need a flasher I just go to a self serve autowreck and get 2 or 3 for usually less than $5.00.

Then I have spares
