I have a problem or I think it's going to turn into a major problem. My girl has a 1995 Cavalier 2.2L and I am noticing very slow ticking of the turn signals until the accelerator is pressed. Even once the accelerator is pressed the turn signals are still very slow. I don't notice any dimming of the lights inside or the headlights so I've ruled out the alternator going bad. The battery seems to have a strong charge, and there is no battery light on inside the dash to signal electrical problems. Has anyone else had this happen to them, and if so is there a solution?

I have a 95 Sunfire 2.2L and have the same problem, blinkers are slow when the headlights are on, speed up slightly if you rev then engine up a litte. When I have no headlights on I don't have the slow blink though.

Sorry I can't give you a solution, but I can verify that you're not the only one. Also I have a new alternator that puts out 14V and my battery is nice and full as well, so I also know that it's not a battery/alternator issue.

You could try another blinker module; or check the contacts on the present one for corrosion and anything that supports a worsening connection to the mains. Humidity and airnorne crap can slowly turn the contacts into more heating elements than conductor over time. The bridge rectifier assy on the alternator might be showing some wear and tear if they're not Hi-Q ones too. Poor wiring connections are often the case; as the alternator must output more current than normal to compensate. There is a fine line between supply and demand in this scenario.

Its the good wires mounted to the frame under the battery.
Move, clean, replace what ever it takes.
I hooked mine to a neew battery ground cable that has a extra lug for misc grounds.
