i need some advice on what to do with my 91 passat

I have a 91 passat and I was wondering are there any good body kits for it, or just exterior stuff, and what engine stuff?

sorry dude, but passats are the biggest pieces of $h*t VW ever built, and I doubt you'll get very far with it. I know it's your car, and that you're probably as attached to it as I am to my jetta (,so sorry for knocking it), but every passat I've ever seen or worked on has been a total piece - please just quit while you're ahead.

Don't listen to him.
I know Zender, Kamei, Abt, Rieger, Seidl, BBS and Erebu make/made complete kits for the B3 Passat.

This may be true, but like I said, every Passat ***I*** have seen has been an absolute piece of crap. I've even seen one that had developed a valve-tick before its third oil change! I can't even recall having ever heard a VW salesperson saying anything positive about Passats. BUT... I will admit that they do have one of the cleanest, smoothest bodies of any VW, so if you're just going for looks, you've probably picked the right car. Sorry if I knocked it a little too hard. Nothing specifically aimmed at you or your car.

((Better Deak?))

BTW Corrados are HOT! Got one? I'd love to see some pics. Looking for one locally right now. The only ones I can find are ten states away in every direction!

Ok, guess I have had better luck then you
My dad is currently driving his his second Passat, and we have had no problems with it. The Passat has been a class leader over here for the last 8 years.

And yes, I have a Corrado, you can find the pictures here

the passat turned into a decent car after '98, also when it started looking good. the W8 is still a waste of money though.

I see nothing wrong with Passats. Tuned right they can make one hell of a sleeper. There are plenty of kits out there for them too. Im thinkin 16v Turbo Passat.. Hmmm...

$5100 for a sound-system that I bought of a friend.

The PO did all the modifications, I'm just saving up money for a new cylinder head. Again.

whoa there... slow down...
corrados were here for a few years actually...

if you looked into the other forum about corrados, you'd see that.

they came with the g60 and the vr6 motors.

not bad.

why don't you ask locally, like local shops, what things like tinting windows costs?

it's different per area.

why are you so interested in what everyone has invested in their car?

it's not a great picture of what the car looks like.

understandable completely, however, you don't know if he modded it himself... or if he had a shop do it...

so, he could spend 5k and get what may cost 10k if you had a shop do it, know what i mean?

i'm not trying to put you down, but things are much cheaper if you do it yourself....

that saves money, which means more mods in the long run, know what i mean?
