Whitewall or Blackwall??
Well, Which is it?? I have always thought blackwall-out looked cool. I think it depends on the wheels you have. I am going to be in the market for new shoes for my truck and I got to thinking........hmmmmm.......
PS I meant to say "blackwall" or "white letters out".

Re: Whitewall or Blackwall??
I voted for black side out. However, for me, it really depends...
...My opinion (If we are sticking strickly to Silvey's here) White walls wouldn't look right on a truck.
White Letters would look fine on a stock or stock looking wheel.
Keep it black for all chrome/polished wheels and lower profile tires.

Re: Whitewall or Blackwall??
I have my white letters out and i love how it looks. the bastard that owned the camaro when they put tires on put the white letters in and I cant switch them around because the letters are beyond able to clean. We have this stuff at work that cleans whitewalls. It seriously will take years of dirt off of a whitewall (or white letters) but the tires on my camaro are pretty bad on the inside..

I opted for the white letters out on my truck, but I would never put white walls on it. If you cant get white letters put the black wall out.

Re: Whitewall or Blackwall??
You can only have whitewall tires if you put Moon hubcaps on the wheels, drop it to the ground, paint it metal flake blue and hang some dingle balls around the windshield (yes, on the inside!!!)....otherwise...I don't think so!!!

WHITEWALLS?!?!?! Seriously? Definately in.
If you are referring to white letters, I still prefer in. Blackwalls give a much cleaner appearance, but it's your choice.
I'm thinking about swapping the Radial T/A white letters to the inside on my 442. Looks a littly busy.

I was hoping so. Never know though... a mechanic I used to work with had two 1500's in a row that he put whitewall 235's on. I have to say, they went well with the mudflaps and hi top capper.

LOL I hate that. I saw an Autozone deluxe 1500 today with 22's. It was bad (as in NOT good). The green bolt on running boards with mud flaps looked good with the bolt on handles to help you in the truck. It also accented the blue runway lights that adorned the bottom edge of the truck But what really set the truck off was the large chrome rain guards that bubbled out from the side windows. Come to think of it, It had White Letters out!!

Hmmm....I was going to say the same thing about white letters. Used to be cool but now they come on everything from conversion vans to you name it. Nice seeing something all detailed out without looking overdone.
Just personal preference...they look good either way. I used to get comments on my Olds when it had blackwalls. When I got new T/A's it seemed natural to put the letters out. I think it detracts from the '69 H/O wheels that are on the car. They really stood out when they weren't competing with the billboards.
