Re: Should I turbo charge my RALLIART
it should work pretty well, the Ralliart engine is alot like a 4G64 (which takes to turbos rather well) but with VVT and a better flowing head, which is a good asset with a turbo.

Re: Should I turbo charge my RALLIART
you can turbocharge any vehicle with an internal combustion engine.

Re: Should I turbo charge my RALLIART
Well according to rre its not good for the lancer to be boosted because the internals were not made to handle large amounts of power. So... unless you plan on redoing to hole motor i wouldn't recomend it again this is according to rre.

Ralliart engines like turbos, it depends on the turbo though I think that they only take TD06 and smaller turbos like that, could be wrong.

Re: Should I turbo charge my RALLIART
im not sure if its the same motor but a member of our club has a 02 lancer and he frankensteined his togather and its running awsome. he used the turbo from a 94 gsx eclipse and got some custom piping and hooked it all up. i dont think he is boosting really high, but it ran a 13.4 so it did some good. lol

If you do you may want to strenghen the internals depending on the turbo you use, I have a EVO VIII that is standard but i'm looking at turbo upgrades when I get the money for one.

Re: Should I turbo charge my RALLIART
The Ralliart has the 2.4 MIVEC motor, defferent from the OZ and the ES lancers.
I found a turbo kit for 4 grand. The kit will get me from 162 hp to 248 hp and lot more turque. Thats over 80 horses with a stage 1 kit and I also read the MIVEC motor will handle the boost with no problems.
Thinks for the info. If anyone has anymore info please share
