Towing questions

Have 97 Legacy Outback..what is best type tow hitch please for pulling approx. 2000lbs?
Any input appreciated - thanks

I would buy a class 2 hitch with the brand name "Hidden Hitch". At least that is what I have bought for my last two Outbacks, works well.

The wiring is something I found best left to the dealer. I know nothing about wiring and apparently neither did U-haul...as I had to replace wiring harness way too often. After the local dealer did their thing it hasn't had any problem.
