I have a 2001 accent and it needs a new cat converter. The only place I can find one is from a dealer for$900.00.Is there anywhere else to get one cheaper?

Dealer or junkyard is going to be your only place. The cat is incorporated on the exhaust manifold, and there won't be any aftermarket ones out there. I belive there is an 8yr 80k mile warranty on the cat so if you are under 80k miles, you might want to look into it. I am on vacation right now, but will be back at work on Tuesday. I'll see what kind of price I can get you one for. I will need to know if you have the 1.5 or 1.6L, and whether it's California or Federal emissions. Or you can just give me your VIN number, and that'll help even more.
