1992 cavalier brake problemstimothy47129 09-04-2005, 01:20 AM I had a wheel cylinder leaking so replace both my rear wheel cylinders, brake shoes and bleed them.My brakes still didn't work untill the pedel was 2inches from the floor. So I replaced my front brake pads and bleed all four brakes. My brakes stop good but I still have ecessive pedel travel(2"from the floor). So how do I tell if it is the power booster, master cylinder or the ABS system? My abs light is not on. Im thinking it is the master cylinder. There isnt a special way to bleed brakes with ABS is there? thanks, Tim quake61 09-04-2005, 08:16 PM I had a wheel cylinder leaking so replace both my rear wheel cylinders, brake shoes and bleed them.My brakes still didn't work untill the pedel was 2inches from the floor. So I replaced my front brake pads and bleed all four brakes. My brakes stop good but I still have ecessive pedel travel(2"from the floor). So how do I tell if it is the power booster, master cylinder or the ABS system? My abs light is not on.
