Fuel Filterdjandy 09-01-2005, 05:15 PM Okay, quick question. The fuel filter on my lines is on the return, I'm gonna go buy a new one but I want to know if it has to be on the return or is it supposed to be on the send? The pump has a crappy skimmer sort of filter on it, nothing else. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v503/djandy/100_2469.jpg NiSmO_zt 09-02-2005, 12:47 AM i would leave it where it is, but judging by the engine bay, your prolly gonna have to flush the gas tank of rust, or get a new one before you get that running, or it will just clog the filter. djandy 09-02-2005, 07:31 AM Yeah, I flushed out the tank and cleaned it as well as I could. The crap that was in the tank had clogged my injectors before, so I was thinking of putting the filter on the send see how that works out... R.W.240 09-02-2005, 03:48 PM Your Asking if you should filter your fuel before it gets to your injectors (ergo saving your motor from weird rust contaminants) or after it goes past your injectors?
