valve cover gasket

hey everyone,
has anybody had problems with their valve cover gasket.mine was leaking a lil oil, i replaced the gasket and still a little bit of oil is leaking out.nothing major just annoying.i have a 99 2.2l cavy.any input would be appreciated.thanks

Was both the head and the valve cover surfaces clean and smooth? Did you torque the cover down when you did the original replacement? Is it fresh oil or perhaps old oil?

I had the same prob on my 02. It was leaking a lil so i torqued it up, now its leaking a lil again. I'm thinking it rattl;es loose or something. Anyone else have any imput?.... Its a lil annoying tightening the bolts all the time..

Just a little bit of blue loc-tite will take care of the bolts wiggling loose.
