I have a 94 accord that the transmission acts funny. when I drive it and reach to second gear, it hesitates to go to third , It feels like the car is on neutral and the more gas I give it the higher the rpm needle goes, then it shifts, and the same thing happens on 3rd gear going to fourth. please help and advice of this problem

Hm, that could be quite a few things. How many miles are on your car. Do you remember the last time the tranny fluid/filter was changed? Are you getting any blinking lights on your dash or near your shifter?

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.

I have similar problem in my
1993 Honda Accord 10th Anniversary Special Edition with 126,000 miles.
I dont know when the Trans oil was changed last. Local mechanic smelled the Tran. oil said that it has a bad smell and need to replace.
Any ideas, suggestion would be highly appreciated.

shift problems

There are no trans filters on this car there is how ever a screen that is permanent the trans fluid must be changed every 30k and the trans must be flushed every 60k chances are that if these things have not been done the trans will never work right again
