does your 'theft system' light come on? does it blink constantly or stay lit? turn your car into the on position (start it or not doesn't matter) let it stall if you tried to start it... do not turn it off, leave it be (in the run position) wait about 10-15 mins (the theft system light should have been blinking, after about 10 mins it will stay lit no blinking) after 10-15 mins crank the car back up- do not turn it in the off position first, leave it in the run position.
this should reset your gm passlock theft deterrent system and it should crank. try one more time if it doesn't work the first-if it doesn't work the 2nd-go to the dealer.
