1999 Tahoe Turn Signal Question

Went out to lunch today and noticed when I turn left turn signal on I get a fast interval action on the signal (vs. regular interval). I checked to see if the left rear signal was lighting up and it is not. I am thinking this (the fast interval) is a cue that the rear bulb is out, but not sure. This sound familiar to anybody?
Thanks

Re: 1999 Tahoe Turn Signal Question

Turn on both sides of the signal switch and visually check all your bulbs. It has happened twice for me and has always been the rear one. But it could be the front one too.

I had the same problem with the right rear stop light/turn signal. The green turn signal in the dashboard would flash at a faster rate...an indication that the bulbs were not working properly. I replaced the bulbs, but they would last only one or two days. I took it to the dealer and they found a short in the wiring and they also replaced the board (where the bulbs are mounted). Problem solved.
