splice into the hot wire going to your headlights and run a wire from the to the indiglo emblem, so when your headlights get power....the indiglo will too.

It all depends on what you want to wire it to. If you want it to stay on when you turn ur lights on, then yes splice the taillamps (the one bulb that stays on). If you want it to go on w/ ur brake lamp, splice the brake lamp wire and hook it up. YOu have to make a minor hole in the Trunk as well. Right?

I have an indiglo emblem, where the 'H" part lights up. Anyways, I have my emblem spliced into my parking lights, so that when they are turned on, my emblem lights up too. I used to have another indiglo emblem that died, and it had 3 rather than 2 wires to it, and it would be on with my lights, and blink when I would brake. My current one is just on when my lights are on.

As far as I know, I don't think you'll need to drill any holes. I didn't for mine on my 2000 coupe. As for wires, what exactly do you want it to come on with, so we can direct you to the exact wire you want?

No prob. Ok, there's 2 ways you can go about wiring it, up. I did it the harder of the two.

First thwe easier one...

You can tap the red +12v wire from the emblem's transformer box, to a red with blakc stripe and silver dots wire, that you should find in each of the harnesses going to your parking lights, at the back of your tailights on the trunk lid. That's how I had my old emblem wired. Mine had 3 wires, so I tapped into that one for power, and the brake light wire for function. Then the black wire is your ground of course, so just attach it to like one of the screws that holds your tails to the trunk lid.

The way I have mine done, is I ran a wire from my underdash fuse box, all the way to my trunk lid, and wired the red wire from the emblem's transformerbox to the long wire I put in, and the other end of it I tapped it into a thicker red with green stripe wire in the light control harness, which is located just above the right side of the fuse box, it's a harness that has a bunch of various green wires going into it, you want the wire that's at the top right of the harness. Hope that helps you out. Let me know how it turns out.

One last important thing man, keep a close eye on it, because mine got stolen off my car today in the parking lot at school. Whenever possible, back your car into parking spaces, that way it's less likely to be seen when you aren't by your car.

I have one on my 96 civic. It has 2 wires. One wire needs to be a ground wire that touches the metal of your car somewhere. The other wire you just need to attach to the parking lights (red with black stripe). Just find the wire somewhere nearby and open up the rubber and tape that shit together, and then turn on your lights and it should work.

Note: In CA, they are illegal if they are not red, especially if you are like me and have blue, so wire em to a switch somewhere like I did if you don't want to get a ticket on the busy roads.

Cool deal, man. I told you it works/looks better hooked to the full 12v of the parking lights.

Anywho, I miss my indiglo emblem. Stupid punks!
