Turn your ignition key on and off 3 times without trying to engage the starter. Then count how many times the "Check Engine" light blinks. write down the numbers. Example 1 blink, pause, and then 2 blinks is code #12. Look in a Chilton's or a Hayes manual for the information on what the numbers pertain to.
