Nice loookin car!! I don't care for the chrome trim, but everybody has their own opinion.

Is that original paint? It looks a lot like mine.

yup, original paint. I painted the side moulding as well.
I was gonna ditch the chrome trim on the fenders but I thougt it went with the chrome wheels, but maybe its time to get rid of it.

Anyone know how I can add a pole to this thread?

Alright, Trim will be gone this weekend.

About the drop, Im not exactly sure. I never did measure it before I dropped it. Im guessing its about 2 - 2.25" drop all the way around on max speed coilovers. I just installed A set of KYB AGX shocks today. It rides much much better now, however the rear is now about 1/2" higher. Ill have to adjust my coilovers tonight.

The Rims are 16 x 7 wrapped in 205/50/16 potnezas.

do you ever get any rubbing while going over a bump, or in a tight turn? when the rear fender folds in, the edges stick out towards the tire, did you have to roll those? i have 215/45/17's so im a little worried, the sidewall is a little thinner, but its wider so it might scrape the edge.

how do you properly roll the fender? i dont wanna chip paint or break anything.

Never had a rubbing problem. Even when I had the rear completely dumped, I mean I had no gap between the fender and the tire. Did it just for fun, still had no rubbing. But it was only for a couple hours.

You may have some rubbing with your tires, but I would say you wont. The only way you would is if your rims are designed to stick out a little further than mine, and you go over a bump big enough to make your tire go up into your fender. I have never had my wheels go up that high on a bump. Guess my suspension is too tight for that.

Also, why is it that you went with 45 series tires on a 17" rim. Were you aware that those tires are half a size to big to maintain the correct overall wheel diameter for our car? Your speedometer may be a little off running on bigger tires. On our cars with a 17" rim you should have 40 series tires, is there a reason you went with the 45's?

i had no clue, i actually bought the set before i had a car. i got them from victoriatires.com, so blame them for any inaccuracies. i initially was thinking about getting a civic, so like everyone else, i ordered 205/40's. but the shop guy called before shipping, and by that time i had set up to buy an accord. he then told me that i should use 45's since my car was heavier and they provide more protection for the rims.

i think after the alignment im gonna stick with 215/45's since it also covers the fender gap a little better, and i dont want to lower it any more.
