can somebody help me Im tired of paying dealers outrageous amounts of $ for service 4 my Pontiac transam I live in anaheim, ca. This is my first post....price quote from a dealer 4 tuneup $600.00 is that right?

I can't refer you to a specific shop in Aneheim. What year and engine size is your T/A? That kind of price for a major tune is high, alright, but it depends on WHICH car you have.
A major tune on a modern one is expensive. The injector service alone can cost over $250. Add in the wires, coils, etc. and you're right there.
For a '73 with a 455 4-bbl., that's WAY TOO HIGH.
