Talking New TB Owner Here!

Hey guys/gals!

Just wanted to say high! I just purchased an '05 TB LT 4x4 fully loaded and I love it! The Navigation system is awesome, as well as Onstar! I picked it up last week with only 10 miles on the ODO, it has 275 right now! That employee pricing plus the option discount package saved me about 10K!!

It's guzzling the gas, but I assume that it's because the engine hasn't broken in yet. I am following the break-in guidelines in the manual, but does anyone else have any other hints on breaking it in?

I am also purchasing the K&N air intake! I love K&N products, I use them on my 2 other cars ('93/'01 Nissan Altima). I am not going mod crazy with this, just the intake and maybe an exhaust, or whatever else will help with the MPG! But def not one of those lame Tornadoes! I'm also changing the headlight bulbs, they seem weak to me, may go with the Sylvania Silverstars, those are bright as hell, I have them on my 2 other cars as well. They light up the road!!

Also having rear DVD installed into the headrests, but that's something for next year :-)

Well, I look forward to learning a lot from you guys here, I've been reading for the last few hours and have already picked up a lot.

Also, if anyone here knows of any other TB forums, please feel free to let me know, thanks! :-)

Re: New TB Owner Here!

welcome...i agree trailvoy.com is very good too.
you learn a lot from both places and it seems like there arent a whole lot of people for TB's on these forums, but there are over 1000 TB/Envoy owners over there.
