my fiesta does'nt lose speed when i take my foot of the accelerator and sometimes speeds up abit any help on what it could be please

Stiff or stuck accelerator cable???? Just clutching at straws but seems to be the first port of call

common thing with these-there is a mod from ford, if you can find a friendly partsman at your local dealer,he will supply you with what you need.
a quick fix is to disconnect the speed sensor(follow the 2 wires from the speedo cable at the gearbox to the bulkhead just right of the air box,
there is a connector there,undoe it,and try your car.
if all is back to normal,and no stalling,leave it as it is-no harm will be done and you can continue like this till you sell/scrap the car.

Try cleaning fuse no. 32 (3 amp). Worked for me.
