hello guys,
I was wondering if anyone can confirm this. I currently have a TB LS 2004 with a single cd changer. I can get a 6cd changer for about $150, however i was wondering if it would work. The part number is 10357886, if it would work since i was told it is from a GM vehicle and should work on TBs also ( it does look exactly like mine) would there be any additional stuff i would need to do other than swap em? Please advise.
you would need the dealer srv dept to program your vin # into the radio for it to work should not be more than $50-$100 maybe even free what i would do is call your service advisor and see how much he would charge you before you get it but even at $100 + $150 thats still a great price if you compare it with how much it would be staigh from the dealer
thanks guys. Turns out the dealer will charge 49.99 in nyc so i may be all set. I'll miss my casette player because of my IPOD but i guess i will do the FM modulator thing.
thats great to hear just one thing with the fm mod make sure u get a wired mod not a wireless because if you get a wiresless mod u will get this high wining sound (feedback from the speakers) and its going to drive u crazy it does with me i have a dvd player with a wireless and man its horrible so im fanally going to get a wired one this weekend any way my 2 cents
Yes Coolblink is correct, I had a bad experience as well with these wireless mod. Be sure to use a wired one and try to secure the modulator away from any other wiring in the dash and use a separate ground connection.

How does the wired FM mod connect to the head unit? Is there an auxiliary antenna input -- or do you have to install a switch to select between the FM mod input and the FM antenna input?
Thanks, I have a whining wireless FM mod on a DVD as well.

O.K , The Fm mod has Audio L & R inputs, Car antenna (IN) slot, ground & positive wires and a antenna jack ( OUT) to hook to your factory head unit.
1- The RCA audio cables Left & Right of DVD goes to input in the FM mod.
2- The stock car antenna wire plugs in car antenna slot of FM mod.
3- Hook up the ground & positive wires.
4- The antenna jack from the FM mod goes to your factory head unit.
Where do you get a wired FM modulator, and how much. I have a wireless one that sucks, and I have the 6 cd in dash with Bose, so an aux adapter is incompatible(at least for the 02s). Thanks for the help.
