Can some one tell me the differences between defrost/floor and full defrost? Like is the defroster door only partially open when defrost/floor is selected therefore the full defrost mode clears the windows quicker?

You answered your own question. There is a door inside the plenum that directs the air flow. If you are set to 2 distribution areas, the air flow is split.
