Unhappy Uplander harmonic balancer retorque recall

We just recieved I recall notice to bring our "05" Uplander in to have the harmonic balancer retorqued because it is not completely seated. Has anyone heard of this? We are having the work done on 08/21 I will post again when I learn more.

Piece of cake

We had ours checked a couple months ago.

It took about 30 minutes which included the dealer washing and vacuming out the interior.

The way it was explained to me was there was a torque wrench out of spec at the factory and they don't know which cars made it out without the proper torque.

I had just enough time to drink a cup of coffee and then hit the bathroom before it was done.

Kindest regards,

RM
