My blazer's rear glass hatch interior button and outside button with key lock doesn't open the hatch don't recall hearing if the solenoid kicks on or not ,is there a relay to this set-up and how to get it opened manually.

Go out and push the button and listen for the mechanism actuating.

If there is no sound, I would look at seeing if there is a blown fuse in the fuse panel for it.

lift gate

I have the same problem. I do hear it trying to work but it is weak and doesn't work. I've tried to do the emergency release but I am unable to release it that way. Has anyone had to do it that was successful that could give me some direction.

Same problem, in a 93. Fuses all check out OK.
Multimeter indicates no power to wires, anyone know where the relay is for this?

Hey i got a 95 . if you have had any trany work done lately that could be the problem . look under the driver side door at the trany. there is 2 wire gangs hooked by the shifter if these are loose or unhooked the rear hatch will not open. ijust replaced my trany thats how i found problem.
