is a pulley puller really necessary?kazmaniandevil05 08-18-2005, 11:29 PM I have purchased a 3.4 in pulley for my supercharger and want to get it on by this saturday (for the woodward dreamcruise) and I don't have access to a pulley puller. Is it possible to do this without the puller and instead with a normal wrench? If so can someone please tell me how to do it easiest? thanks Ripn12s 08-18-2005, 11:49 PM hmmm, i dont think so maybe if u cut the old pulley off and find someway to press the 3.4 on. best thing is to get/ borrow a puller. u should just sell the 3.4 and get a modular system. no need for a puller after that woodward dreamcruise??/ is that IL chicago land area??? kazmaniandevil05 08-19-2005, 12:01 AM no its in the detroit area. I took it to a shop that didn't have the correct puller they ended up cutting it off with a grinder. It sounds great. thanks kazmaniandevil05 08-21-2005, 09:56 AM well here's what ended up happening.
