How do I go about just killing my chime ? I remember they used to just unplug. Is that still the case? Where the heck is it and how do I by pass it?

Yes you can just unplug it, on mine(93) it is right above the hood release behind the plastic cover. It was a chore to get to.

just a question why do u wnat to kill ur chime

Cause it chimes going down the road sometimes and I'm to redneck to replace the door jamb switch.
