Question 97 Lumina Hazzard flasher

Where is the hazzard flasher located Haynes shows it under the dash and I cannot find anything remotly like the part I got from Chev I have to be missing somewthing .I rtedmoved lower part of dash and still can not find location.

It is below the glove comp under the plastic panel. It is round aluminum thing.

No luck I donloaded a picture of the dash golve box removed no aluminum thing .Any other suggestions
I feel like I am on a easter egg hunt I would love to get my hands on the engineer that disigned this mess at least stay consistant on location of parts.

does the hazerd flasher not work? One of the easiest ways is just to turn it on and listen for the clicking. But if it doesnt click, I dont know what to tell you. Its just a hazard flasher, right? You dont really need those for anything anyways, unless your broke down.

Did you ever drive in a Florida deluge you need it then.Found out on another site the flasher for a 1997 Lumina is way up on the firewall to the left of the steering colume you have to be a dam contortionist to get to it and you have to disconnect two plugs before you can even see it .

That one is not Hazard but regular flasher.
