Automotive paint for ford GT40

Hi new to the site.I am currently about to start modelling a Le Mans Miniatures Ford GT40 in Gulf colours.Is there an automotive paint available for the gulf blue?

Hi and welcome to AF! What do you mean by automotive? Like in a spray can form? Try the model brands 1st. There might be somethign close. But, in actual paint for autos, yes. I have seen in the 2005 color code books, that there is a gulf blue in the ford section. I don't know why tho. I didn't think ford offered the new GT in the gulf colors:confused: Anyway. Good luck finding it, or something similar.

I think Bluebaja Frank's got Ford GT on the brain and not GT40 :evillol:

Yes, there is auto paint in the Gulf color from Model Car World, however unless you live in the US, you are out of luck getting it since none of the US paint suppliers will send paint overseas because it's illegal.

I have a bottle of the Gulf blue from MCW, it's #2064 light blue. I'm not sure about alternatives, not many pale blues available.
