Re: battery location
yep, its in the trunk, and why is it in the trunk? because its nicely insulated in there, and its not exposed to the elements as much. smart move i think. better than my cirrus, whose battery is down by the front tire.

well, the dealership told me that they put it in the trunk because of the noise reducing shield that's on top of the engine. that takes up a lot of space under the hood, so they moved the battery to the trunk. i once had a 1977 corvette & the battery was behind the driver's seat in a small compartment speaking of a wierd place for a battery. the battery & it's cable connections stayed nice & clean in there, but it was very hard to reach down there to replace the battery, & to jump start someone, forget it!

Re: battery location
Having a 40-50 pound battery in the trunk also helps for wieght distribution

That should make it a little easier to power your amps .
Who made that car that had the battery under the back seat? Caddy?, Chrysler? What were they smoking?

Yea, prolly easier on the manufacture as well when installing the 7 speaker surround sound that comes with a 10" subwoofer.

Re: battery location
VW Beetles(old ones)had the battery under the back seat. They also had the spare tire up front and a hose came off the tire valve to push washer fluid to your windshield, resulting in flatening your spare.
