Hey guys, I just got myself a 1999 Integra with about 50k miles on it. The engine looks superb, very well kept, but the paint job is another story. Well, basically, the poly is starting to chip on the back bumper. I really don't like the color of the car to begin with (forest greenish) and was wondering, would it be okay to jump from forest green to black? No color will bleed and the green won't be noticeable any longer, correct? Is there anything I have to worry about when making a color change? The existing paint really makes me sad, I think a new coat is in order. Thanks for the help!

I also have a 99 GSR with about the same miles and the paint is the same forest green color....anyway i thought about changing it to black because the hood has a couple of rock chips and i always wanted a black car. I stopped and got an estimate on it and they said it would be at least $2000 and they don't recommend changing the color because of the insides of the doors and the strut towers....they would be the original color. I don't know it these guys are the best around, but that's what i was told. I hope you find out something a little better.
